Judee Taylor, your Meadows specialist, has been a resident of The Meadows since 1990.  Judee has sold many properties within The Meadows and is very familiar with all the various communities. The Meadows is a beautiful golfcourse community developed by Taylor-Woodrow and built between the late 1970s and early 1990s.  With over 3400 residences, there is a wide variety of condos, villas and single family homes on 1600 beautifully landscaped acres. There are miles of walking/biking trails, 3 golf courses and a fitness trail.   The Meadows Community Association is located at 2001 Longmeadow, Sarasota, FL 34235 (MCA).  There one can find information about the community along with various meetings and activities such as monthly MCA Assembly meetings, Koffe Klatsch, craft groups, Ma Jong, Bingo, Heart Pillows, Players Rehearsals, photo shows and monthly book club.   The Meadows Country Club at 3101 Longmeadow, Sarasota FL has three 18 hole golf courses: The two private courses, The Highlands and The Meadows, are both par 72. The Meadows was recently renovated by golf course architect Ron Garl.  The Groves, open to the public, is an 18 hole Arthur Hills Walking course par 65. There is a pro shop and marvelous dining at the clubhouse.  Other activities include: a swimming pool, fitness center and activity center The Meadows Tennis Club at 3101 Longmeadow, Sarasota, FL has 16 lighted Har Tru tennis courts and offers a wide variety of classes and programs. It has the honr of being rated as one of the Top 20 clubs in the United States! The tennis program has nationally ranked and certified USPTA professionals directed by Don Caprio, Director of Tennis. Don is an active teacher in the Meadows program for both adults and juniors. The Meadows Tennis Club also provides tennis locker rooms, a  tennis pro shop and racket customization. The Centre Court Lounge offers a bar and dining services where you can enjoy a meal after a game. The junior Olympic pool complex offers outside dining and a spa to relax after a game of tennis. The Meadows Shopping Village has a bank, dentist, travel agency, 3 restaurants, barber & beauty shop and more.
