Coquina Beach
Coquina Beach, at the southern end of Anna Maria Island off Gulf Drive, is a nice long walking beach. Picnic tables under pine trees with plenty of parking. A snack bar is available.
Holmes Beach
Holmes Beach is located on north Anna Maria Island on Gulf Drive. It only has parking for a few cars, but is popular with the locals.
Manatee Beach
Manatee Beach is located in the middle of Anna Maria Island. It is a typical 1950s tourist spot with beautiful white sand. Fish off the fishing pier. Enjoy live music. Shop in the little gift siops with lots of shell gifts.
Palma Sola Causeway
This beach is on the Bay side. It is popular with families.
Venice Beach
This beach is popular with scuba divers because of the fossilized reef is located one-quarter mile offshore. Venice beaches are famous for the 5 million year old sharks' teeth buried in the sand. Take home a fossil to remember your day at the beach.
